Donald G. Gillin is Professor of History and Director of Asian Studies at Vassar College. A specialist in the political and military history of modern China, he wrote Warlord: Yen Hsi-shan in Shansi Province, 1911-1949 and Falsifying China's History: The Case of Sterling Seagrave's The Soong Dynasty.
