Retail Discount Policy and Pricing for Bookstores

Hoover Press has a combined discount schedule that applies to orders for single or assorted titles, cloth or paperback. Contact the sales department to obtain a discount schedule. Prices are subject to change without notice and do not necessarily reflect the resale price. Payment must be made in U.S. dollars.

Return Policy for Bookstores

No authorization is necessary for bookstore returns or individuals. Books must be packed securely and accompanied by a complete packing list or copy of the original invoice. The packing list must refer to the original invoice number, date, and discount provided. Hoover Press accepts returns three months to one year from date of purchase. Returned books must be unmarked and resalable as new. Credit will not be given for unacceptable returns. Hoover Press will hold any unacceptable returns for two months, during which time the customer may request a call tag for the books. The press must be notified of discrepancies within 45 days of the receipt of books. When books are declared out of print, all returns must be made within 60 days of effective declaration date. Note: Hoover Classics, Hoover Essays in Public Policy, and Hoover Essays are not returnable.
